Today we suggest you to drive up north direction to the Lot and visit the impressive Castle of Bonaguil. Nearby you will find the wine Domaine “Chateau Lamartine” where you are awaited for a winetasting of AOC Cahors wine (100% Malbec). Return via Lauzerte and visit of the middle aged Bastide town of Lauzerte, Saint James of Compostela way.

At 9h00 you will be introduced by the chef “Guy Herault” into French cooking, style south west. After the cooking lesson, you will have lunch and will eat what you’ve cooked in the morning. In the afternoon, you have the opportunity to visit the famous museum of “foie gras” in Frespech (including tasting of the speciality); continuation to the middle aged village of “Penne d’Agenais” where you can visit the prune factory as well. Today is market day in Sarlat, situated north of the Dordogne River. One of the most renowned and visited towns in France, Sarlat is also one of the most attractive and beautiful, well restored towns ! The old town, with fine examples of architecture from both medieval and renaissance times, is a pleasure to visit. Don't miss the streets around the cathedral and the streets to the north of Sarlat. You will soon become lost in the maze of narrow lanes, with something new to see around every corner! Return across a fantastic region with Troglodyt homes and medieval villages... Early departure for the 2-hours drive to the famous village of Saint Emilion (protected by the UNESCO world heritage) Beautiful village and the name of the “Saint Emilion” is not a legend, there are proves of his life going back to the 12th century.
